Today I went with a co-worker to an English bookstore that she found. Unfortunately it was closed because it's Sunday, but we wandered around the area for a while and found a Korean bookstore that had a small English section. I picked up a Time magazine to get a taste of life back home, and a copy of The Great Gatsby because, well, it's familiar and I haven't read it in 10 years. As you can see, the store was the one stop shop for all of the Korean Obamaniac's needs.
For the past few days it has been snowing. My walk to work the other day was in the midst of a torrential downpour of snow. None of it stuck though. I reckon that when it hit the ground it was melted by the layer of spit on the pavement.
But I walked outside of my apartment this morning and was surprised to find a decent amount of snow on the ground. Here's the view:
