blindfold

Today was the last day for my school. The question then is what does a teacher do when there is no tomorrow? Well, you blindfold your students and make them chase each other.

This is what I do. This is how I make a living.

Now then, what's next for me? Well after a period of indecision I took another job. Starting Friday I'll be teaching mainly middle school Korean students how to speak English. Or, rather, I'll be speaking English at exhausted and apathetic Korean teenagers who for the most part will ignore me. You know how it goes.

I may have said what I'm about to say before, but I'll say it anyway. Every time I start a new job, I feel the same way I did when I began my first job. That feeling being terror. Despite having done this for 4 years, as I sit here now and think about this new job that will begin on Friday, I'm a bit gobsmacked by the thought of it.

Here's a photo of my girlfriend's niece and me.
