changes

It stands to reason that a good thing to write about is some of the changes that have occurred during the year and a half gap between meaningful posts.

Well, for one, I'm married now. That seems like a big one to get out of the way. I married the girl who I started dating way back when, those many moons ago, when the world was a simpler place...can you tell yet that I don't know offhand when we started dating? It was Christmastime...2011? Something like that. The year after I almost died.

Secondly, I have a child. Again, a big one worth covering. She's a female child, also known as a daughter. Her name is Esther and she blows raspberries a lot. It's non-stop with the blowing raspberries these days. Apparently that's a good thing though- an early form of language experimentation- so we encourage it because this baby's got two languages to learn.

Thirdly, again I'm at a new school. This is, by my count, the 7th different academy I've worked at in Korea. Fortunately I can unequivocally say that this is the best job I've ever had here. The classes are small, the hassle is non-existent, my boss is benevolent, and the kids for the most part are studious.

In conclusion, those are the big changes that have occurred in my life over the past year and a half. Thank you for reading.
