halfway decent

I'll tell you what, you blink and 6 months go by.



Intermittently, over the past 6 months, I've wondered if I should retire this insignificant portion of the internet. And, whilst wondering, I seem to have done just that. But it's vexed me a bit. I've written a lot here, and to just leave it to collect dust, to wither and decay amongst others in the cemetery of abandoned blogs, it didn't feel like a just sending off.

This blog started with me being 25 years old, scared and alone on the other side of the world. Now I'm 31, with a wife (surprise!) and a baby coming in October (surprise again!). Things happened between then and now and I wrote about them here, and I think I did a halfway decent job. If you've read this whole thing, or any of it really, I guess all I can say is thanks, and I hope you didn't consider it a waste of your time.
